Material Handler, Carrollton TX  

Starting pay: $22.52 plus a $1.00 shift differential.

Shift: Night (3 rd ) 10:00pm – 6:15am

Training will be conducted on first shift for approximately 2 months. (Mon-Fri with the possibility of OT on Saturday from 6:00am – 2:15pm.

 

As a  Material Handler  you will be a crucial part of our operations, ensuring that a quality product is available to our customers when they need them. Your work will directly affect people's lives!

Primary Responsibilities

·         Operate a sit-down forklift to receive pallets of raw materials and packaging products. 

·         Operate a sit-down forklift to load trucks with pallets of finished goods from production lines. 

·         Operate packaging equipment such as stretch wrappers, de-palletizing and palletizing systems. 

·         Communicate with leadership and other team members verbally and with email. 

Qualifications

·  Ability to learn how to operate RF scanners for inventory control of finished goods. 
·  Basic computer literacy. 
·  Ability to lift 50lbs occasionally. 
·  Experience with basic hand and power tools. 
·  Good communication skills. 
·  Ability to work with limited supervision. 
·  Ability to work in a team environment, take ownership of responsibilities and follow instructions of leadership team. 
·  Work safely and maintain excellent housekeeping (5S) standards.
