JOB SUMMARY:
The Office Manager is responsible for the overall function of the medical office, including directing the clinical flow and participating in all aspects of patient care in the office as well as all business aspects of the office. An Office Manager effectively and efficiently accomplishes organizational goals and objectives, using a team-oriented approach, through Human Resources Management, Performance Improvement, Risk Management, Safety Management and Infection Control. The Office Manager ensures that quality care of patients/members is administered in a professional, customer friendly manner.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Must have a high school or equivalent diploma.

Minimum of one year previous experience managing a medical practice preferred.

Clear English communication skills, written and oral.

Strong computer skills, including EHR systems.

Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to remain functional in high stress situations.

Strong customer service skills.

Ability to type twenty (20) words per minute (wpm) is required.
