This position is responsible for assisting in documentation review and data entry at Cambridge Technologies.
Accountabilities
Reports to: Manager of QA/QC
Supervises: Has no supervisory responsibilities
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Review manufacturing documentation and supporting information in support of maintaining USDA compliance as well as all internal Quality Standards.
- Strong keying and data entry skills
- Collecting, sorting, and entering in of data from manufacturing documents into various software systems.
- Assists in providing USDA-CVB with required Final Product data and disposition.
- Assist in conducting internal audits and self-inspections.
- Assist in creating improved or new forms necessary for documenting manufacture activities.
- Assist to develop, collect, and report Quality performance metrics as needed.
- Participates in the identification and implementation of all continuous process improvement activities.
- Complies with internal safety requirements; and will promote safety in all work areas.
- Accountable for complying with the Company Handbook and all policies and procedures set by the company.
- Ability to communicate effectively (written, verbal, and presentation) with all levels of the organization.
- Ability to apply concepts of basic math.
- Detail oriented, organized and time-management skills.
- Work in a teamwork setting.
- Repetitive work on a computer in an open office setting.
- Comfortable navigating within computer applications.
- Foster a positive work environment and leads by example.
- Other duties as assigned.
- 2 years’ experience in handling documents and data entry in a manufacturing or office setting.
- Great Plains/Microsoft Dynamics experience preferred.
- Proficient typing skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Work week: Monday through Friday

While Performing The Duties Of This Job
- Employee will be required to use arms/hands for typing, operating a computer mouse and other repetitive arm/hand movements for work.
