Prairie Staffing LLC in Sun Prairie, WI has partnered with and industry leader based in Madison and Middleton, WI seeking a Sales Account Manager. As Sales Account Manager you will manage existing customer activity including the overall care, growth, and retention of a commercial customer base. You will focus on increasing revenues, product penetration, and improving overall profitability. You will also manage changes to existing customer accounts, renew contracts, respond to RFPs, and foster existing customer loyalty. To be successful in this role, you must be willing to take the lead on resolving customer issues through escalation to the appropriate teams and timely follow-up. In addition, you will also focus on developing new accounts, by prospecting new business customers, uncovering their needs, and delivering compelling telecommunications solutions that meet those needs in a timely manner. You will consistently drive new and existing business development, with a goal to grow the assigned book of business, in a quota driven environment.
- Base salary of $45k $18k commission target!

Responsibilities
- Manage existing account base by regularly contacting account holders (via phone and in person), negotiating sales, and meeting or exceeding goals.
- Retain business customers and reduce market churn.
- Maintain a solid understanding and up-to-date knowledge of all processes, procedures and systems that affect your customer base.
- Focus on market share growth by prospecting and selling new businesses.
- Identify, contact, and build relationships with prospective customers through cold calls, networking, and referrals to obtain appointments.
- Create proposals, submit new orders, and close sales.
- Develop a tactical sales plan for prospecting, customer growth and retention plans to meet or exceed your goals.
- Maintain accurate and timely activity tracking, customer status and forecasts utilizing the CRM system.
Required Qualifications
- 3 years of customer service or sales experience.
- Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license, insurance, and have access to reliable transportation.
