Office Manager Position
Fast growing Delaware personal injury and workers’ compensation law firm looking for an office manager to help grow the firm to greater heights. The law firm operates with a keen sense on client service. That business focus on the client has allowed the firm that started with three employees to have grown to thirteen employees in just over four years. The firm is looking for an office manager that wants to be a part of helping to grow the business to even greater heights.

- Attention to detail to ensure tasks are completed thoroughly and correctly.
Job Responsibilities:
- Overseeing the work of all employees to ensure they work productively and meet deadlines and company standards;
- Counseling any employees struggling in their roles;
- Keep track of employees PTO;
- Reviewing the office budget and ensuring the firm complies with the budget;
- Managing the firm’s finances using QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel and the firm’s bank accounts;
- Monitoring office supplies and ordering new stationery, furniture, appliances and electronics as required;
- Interviewing and training new employees and organizing their employment paperwork;
- Design and implement office policies by establishing standards and procedures, measuring results against standards, and making necessary adjustments.
- Managing contractors retained by the firm for things such as marketing, IT services, copying/faxing, insurance, maintenance companies, etc.;
- Reporting office progress to partners and working with them to improve office operations and procedures;
- Completing payroll;
- Occasional travel to satellite offices;
- Contribute to team effort as needed.
Education, Experience and Licensing Requirements:
- Bachelor or Master’s Degree
- Prior experience as an office manager
- QuickBooks proficiency preferred
- Microsoft Excel and Word proficiency preferred
- Employee must undergo a background check
