Precept Wine and Spirits is the largest privately-owned wine and spirits company in the Northwest. We are integrated to run our own vineyards, wineries, and tasting rooms. The Precept Pricing Department is in need of a Pricing Specialist to create, maintain, and communicate pricing to our sales team. The Pricing specialist will report directly to the Pricing and Compliance Director, a member of the Operations Team.

This person will work closely with the Sales and Pricing team to enter existing pricing into an online portal.  Customer service is key to being successful in this role, as well as the ability to interpret and transcribe complex financial documents.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Maintaining and updating Precept’s pricing system.
• Ensuring national pricing across our distributor partners.
• Database management - pricing system audits and updates for freight, tax, distributor contact information, alcohol %, etc.
• Working alongside sales, accounting, and pricing teams to identify and reconcile discrepancies with distributor records.
• Creating price proposal documents and understand margin calculations.
• Reviewing daily discrepancy reports and managing billbacks.
• Other pricing-related, administrative duties as assigned.

The ideal candidate will:

• Have excellent organizational skills and be detail oriented with attention to detail.
• Have strong interpersonal skills, including verbal and written communication.
• Have experience working in an office environment and independently remote.
• Have basic to intermediate skills with Microsoft Excel: Basic lookups, SUMIF(S), and pivot tables.
• Be extremely comfortable using Microsoft Office Suites (Excel and Outlook).
• Have strong time management skills and use their time effectively.

The applicant must be flexible, professional, highly motivated, and must be able to manage multiple responsibilities and complete tasks with minimal supervision.
