What are the responsibilities and job description for the PMHNP Preceptor position at Preceptor Point?
At Preceptor Point we work as the main point of contact between NP Students and current healthcare professionals willing to work as Preceptors. We are looking for qualified and enthusiastic Preceptors that can help guide the next generation of Nurse Practitioners.
The Nursing field is unique regarding clinical training. NP students often struggle to find an available Preceptor, sometimes to the point of delaying graduation. Nurse Preceptors do not receive the compensation or support that their hard work justifies.
Along with the pride of helping NP students in need, qualified Preceptors will receive:
- Direct compensation up to $1,500 per student, upon completion
- Ability to choose from prescreened students that meet proper criteria
- Individual contact assigned to guide through the process
- Opportunity for future work with qualified students
- Potential for additional compensation through generous referral bonus
Qualified candidates will have:
- 1 years of experience in a clinical setting (PMHNP, NP, MD, PA, DO, CNM)
- Active license that is currently in a good standing
- Available clinical setting that is open to preceptorship
- A desire to provide high quality training for the next generation of nursing
- Currently working with a specialty in Psychiatric Mental Health
We are striving to create a stress-free point of contact between students and preceptors. If you are interested in ushering in the next generation, and getting compensated along the way, apply below.
