What You Should Know About the RN Hospice Inpatient Care Role:
- This is a full-time position. 6:30a-6:30p. With every other weekend.
- We provide superior care and superior services to patients at their end-of-life journey. Only those who have a heart for hospice will succeed.
The RN Hospice Inpatient Care Essential Duties Are:
Planning and delivering care to patients utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, interventions, implementation, and evaluation; and effectively interacting with patients, families and other interdisciplinary team members while maintaining standards of professional nursing.
RN Hospice Inpatient Care Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school; ASN; BSN preferred
- Active RN license in Ohio without any board actions
- Two years acute care nursing experience preferred
- Certification Hospice & Palliative Medicine (CHPN) preferred; required within 2 years of employment
- CPR Certified
- Computer skills sufficient to properly document services and care
- Able to travel during daytime, nighttime or inclement weather
- Valid Driver's License with Safe Driving Record
- State minimum Automobile insurance coverage
