What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Director position at Precious Time?

We have had the privilege of serving our community for over 20 years. We are one of the few childcare centers that offer an Inclusion Program.
The assistant director is responsible for assisting the director with the day-to-day operation of the center. This includes being responsible for supervising the following areas: staff training's, curriculum planning, scheduling, orientation of new staff, student enrollment, supply inventory, supervision of classroom instruction, keeping a positive relationship with parents and staff members, maintaining 100% compliance with state standards for licensing at all times. The assistant director is also accountable for any additional responsibilities as determined by the director.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
The center assistant director should possess the a minimum qualification of an early childhood professional credential such as a CDA, Certification in early childhood education, or BA in education or related field. Ten or more hours of management training. At least one year of experience in a supervisory role. At least two years of experience as a classroom teacher.

Pay: $28,000.00 - $35,000.00 per year
