Job Summary
The student will:
- Apply principles that he or she has learned in school to hands-on situations.
- Take ownership and responsibility for all assignments - identifying areas of process improvement and cost reduction.
- Participate on Engineering and Quality department or project teams - analyze improvements and new product or applications and develop requirements and specifications with team.
- Learn Measurement and Test Methods and apply hands on activities support development of Work Instructions and skills.
- Work within guidelines and specifications provided to meet project goals, objectives and assignments in a timely and accurate manner - receiving progressive responsibility as goals are met.
- Attend training sessions and other appropriate educational opportunities.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Current student pursuing a bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial Systems or Materials Science Engineering.
- Demonstrated results-driven leadership.
- Critical problem analysis, decision making and analytical abilities.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
