Summary
The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for full-life cycle recruitment for hourly positions. He/she will develop strong relationships with business leaders and hiring teams, HR and all other key stakeholders to build recruiting strategies and identify the best talent for TIMET. The TA Specialist will conduct candidate sourcing to identify active and passive top talent for time critical current requirements and future business needs through multiple tools including but not limited to TIMET's applicant tracking system (ATS), job boards, internet groups, business and networking groups, social media sites, key agency contacts, and employee referrals.
Essential Functions
Be responsible for the full recruiting life cycle for all open hourly positions externally
Identify highly qualified candidates to fill positions for manufacturing facilities
Assist to recruit for salaried positions as needed
Work with HR Managers to devise a recruiting plan and create a detailed position description from intake call that gives specific detail regarding the position: (Location, Job Title, Hours, Rate of Pay, Overtime % expected, benefits, and general responsibilities)
Creatively source active and passive, operations talent; develop creative sourcing strategies for hard-to-fill positions, including direct sourcing and internet recruitment, leveraging industry networks; continue to build a talent pipeline. Develop a social media/recruiting strategy for recruiting hourly. Track success on dashboard to drive continued strategy. Be a source for HR Leaders on recruiting those just entering the workforce
Negotiate and close talent with offers and starts
Understand plant compensation plans and benefit plans
Document and report in the applicant tracking system
Become a credible and trusted talent advisor to hiring managers.
Screening and vetting of candidates telephonically
Create strong relationships within the local communities, local tech schools, high schools, etc.
Organize recruiting events/interview days with leaders
Develop a recruiting strategy that embodies our diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging philosophy
Additional Responsibilities
Support College and University recruiting initiatives as needed
Look for opportunities for vocational training opportunities, apprenticeships, and partnerships
