What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registered Dietitian position at Preferred Care MI?
Hampton Nursing and Rehab (formerly ProMedica) working towards our mission to provide quality long-term care and related health services is looking for a Registered Dietitian to join our clinical team.
RD – Registered Dietitian Responsibilities will include but are not be limited to:
- Maintains clinical nutrition documentation for residents in accordance with Nursing Center policy and procedure, as well as state and federal regulations
- Ensures that all assessments and progress notes documented in the medical records are accurate, informative, and descriptive of the services provided and of the resident’s response to the plan of care.
- Participates with the interdisciplinary team in developing, implementing, and evaluating plans of care
- Interviews residents, family members, legal representatives, significant others, and staff to obtain and update information needed to develop individualized plan of care, protect and promote residents’ rights, and accommodate individual needs and preferences.
Educational requirements:
Credentialed as a Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
Licensed by the State Dietetics Licensing/Credentialing Board, in states where required
Possess the necessary skills to effectively utilize Microsoft office applications, electronic medical record & diet office systems, and nutrient analysis programming
Salary : $52,300 - $66,200
