Drillers Helper

Job Description:

- Working outside in the field at various locations

-Driving company vehicles/box trucks as needed

- Assisting drill rig operator with well/boring installations by:

- Mixing & pouring cement

- Posthole digging

- Lifting/moving drilling equipment

- Using jackhammer & concrete saw

Must have the following in order to apply:

- Means of transportation to/from work.

- A valid Florida drivers license in good standing (max of 2 tickets in past 3 yrs)

- Be willing to travel throughout the state of Florida, Georgia, and Alabama; per diem and lodging is provided. 95% of work is in the State of Florida.

(not all projects require travel)

- Be able to pass a DOT & OSHA physical

- Be able to lift 50-75lbs repetitively throughout the day

- Be physically able to work 10-12 hr shifts in the field daily

Preferred Skills (preferred but not required)

- At least one year previous experience in construction/industrial work

Dress Code: Steel toes boots, high visibility tee shirts, long pants. Other required personal protective equipment (employer will discuss)

Required Screenings:

- Pre-employment and random drug testing

- Criminal background checks (Federal) as far back as seven years.

- Reference, Credit and DMV (max 4 points) records checks.

Days & Hours: Monday-Friday; 6am-6pm. 40 hours per week. May vary

(yearly average of approximately 50-55 hours per week)

Compensation: $16-$18 /hr DOE
