Preform Solutions is a locally owned and operated company for over 20 years, producing custom plastic containers for the packaging industry.

 If you are a high energy person that establishes relationships quickly, has dedicated work ethics, and an outgoing personality, you may be a great fit for our Customer Service and Sales Assistant position! The primary responsibilities of this position will be working with our sales staff and helping with customer-related administrative duties.

Job Duties

  • Entering customer Purchase Orders with accuracy
  • Communicate order status
  • Update customer database
  • Respond to customer inquiries timely
  • Assist with creating estimates for customers
  • Monitor and update changes to customer pricing
  • Review incoming customer purchase orders and check for accuracy
  • Make customer follow-up calls
  • Make customer contact for freight arrangements
  • Generate weekly customer contact report
  • Run shipping schedule report and forward to management
  • Assist with administrative and customer support duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Must Include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field preferred
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to follow-up timely
  • Strong phone communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft Office products
  • Must possess strong organizational skills and be able to multitask in a fast-paced work environment
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Ability to complete job duties with minimal direction
Schedule

Schedule is Monday-Friday 8am-5pm; this is a salaried position and additional hours may be needed to complete job duties, depending on workload

Compensation

Starting rate of $60,000-$70,000 dependent on experience
