JOB SUMMARY
This position performs a wide variety of duties to ensure an efficient and effective process for welcoming and screening all patients and visitors who enter our facilities.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Clearly communicate self-monitoring questions to patients and visitors entering the facilities.
- Provide quality customer service excellence.
- Greet patients, families, and visitors and make efforts to create a welcoming environment for guests.
- Provide information and directions to patients, families, visitors, and other customers as needed.
- Take temperatures of individuals entering the facility using an infrared thermometer.
- Track and submit data based on the number of patients and visitors.
- Assists patients/families/customers with wayfinding or escort patients, families, and visitors to designations as needed.
- Transport patients to and from their destination while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and privacy/modesty by complying with established policies and procedures.
- Provide a positive first impression of the organization to patients and visitors.
- Interacts with patients, families, and visitors using communication and actions appropriate to a business environment.
- Projects a positive image in dress and decorum.
- Respond to questions and complaints.
- Help to create standard work and improve processes within the role.
- Assist with other administrative duties as assigned
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- High School diploma
- Customer service experience
- Basic communication skills and working knowledge of the English language.
- Resourceful in problem-solving.
- Ability to be organized and flexible in response to changing demands.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team with little supervision.
