Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Manager to join our dynamic sales team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing of boat & consignment sales, driving revenue growth, and leading the charge in customer acquisition and retention. The Sales Manager will be the face of our organization, utilizing their exceptional market knowledge and technical sales skills to build strong relationships with customers and prospects. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in managing boat & consignment sales, meeting sales targets, and exceeding customer expectations.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of outside sales professionals, providing guidance and support to achieve sales goals
- Develop and execute sales strategies to penetrate new markets and expand existing customer relationships
- Manage sales territories, identifying opportunities for growth and implementing effective sales tactics
- Conduct cold calling and prospecting to generate new leads and build pipelines
- Utilize technical sales skills to effectively communicate product features and benefits to customers
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop targeted campaigns and promotions
- Meet and exceed sales targets, with a focus on upselling and cross-selling products and services
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty
- Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement
- Develop and manage sales forecasts, sales plans, and sales budgets
Experience:
- 5 years of sales management experience, with a focus on B2B sales
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
- Strong experience in territory management and sales planning
- Excellent cold calling and prospecting skills
- Experience in technical sales, with the ability to understand complex products and technologies
- Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on building strong customer relationships
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team of sales professionals
- Proficiency in sales software and CRM tools, including Salesforce
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
