General Responsibilities:

This person should have experience overseeing business operations, human resources, finance, and customer service. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator with internal leaders and external clients and should have a strong ability to delegate responsibility and collaborate across a range of departments. This candidate should intimately understand the underlying processes and technologies that drive our team and use analytical modeling to apply data-driven decision making for continuous process improvement. Ultimately, the general manager should be driven by a desire to lead our business to maximum productivity and efficiency.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Developing key performance goals and managing the performance of staff
- Creating and implementing strategies for business growth
- Hiring new staff within a department or business unit
- Working closely with account managers and other senior staff to retain clients; government contracting or management consulting experience is a plus
- Developing new solutions to meet client needs
- Improving internal processes for better productivity through process mapping and analytics; Lean Six Sigma experience preferred
- Identifying automation and operating model procedures to enhance operational workflows
- Developing analytical models and metric reporting to monitor performance trends to improve operations and customer service
- Managing the budget and monitoring the financial health of a location or business unit
- Supporting functional requirements gathering to enhance technology systems and performance dashboards
- Travel between the Milwaukee and Madison offices
Who You Are:
- Sufficient in MS Suite, including Visio, Excel, Outlook, Word
- Keen strategic thinking and planning
- High EQ with strong problem-solving skills and a tolerance for ambiguity
- Understanding of budget management and financial monitoring
- Leadership skills, including goal setting, motivating, training, change management, and mentorship
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, including writing, speaking, and active listening
- Process improvement and data analytics experience; including setting operational KPIs and developing dashboards and reporting
- Experience with account management or other client relationship building (e.g., consulting, sales)
- Effective conflict resolution and problem-solving skills
- Good organization and time management
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment and role
- Knowledge of healthcare, self-direction, or FEA preferred
