The QI/EHR and Training Specialist is responsible for gathering and managing data in SBHI’s electronic health record to support clinical and administrative functions. The QI/EHR and Training Specialist serves as a point person for staff questions/issues related to the electronic health record application and reports and tracks issues with the application vendor and PHP IT. This staff person assists the Director of Quality and Compliance in ensuring the accuracy and validity of the electronic health record application’s data tables, mappings, updates and trials. The QI/EHR and Training Specialist assists to ensure the electronic health record’s compliance with various regulatory agencies, including PHP, HIPAA, CARF, and OhioMHAS. This staff person serves as the Liaison with the EHR application vendor and PHP IT to ensure that SBHI is compliant with HIPAA/ PH IT/electronic health record standards. The QI/EHR and Training Specialist provides administrative support to SBHI Netsmart Affiliate(s). The QI/EHR and Training Specialist provides training via designated policy review, Health and safety training and electronic health record training to new employees

Preferred educational qualifications: 6 Years computer database analysis and reporting. Strong Analytical Skills. Strong interpersonal communication skills Must possess a six (6) years of experience with: Programming languages (XML, Javascript, or ETL frameworks) Data reporting tools (Business Objects) Statistical packages (Excel, SPSS, SAS) Dashboard and report development tracking cost/utilization trends, clinical trends, quality performance, and provider performance. Proficient with Microsoft Office software suite (specifically, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word) at a high level of proficiency. Proficient SQL and Crystal Report writing. Proficient with Microsoft SQL and other DBMS report writing. Proficient with advanced MS Excel Pivot Table and Power Query
