Job Description:
Answers multi-line phone, direct calls, assist staff and customers by telephone in order to arrange weekly delivery. Assist with Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions as needed. Writes, types, or enters information into computer to prepare correspondence, bills, statements, receipts, or other documents, copying information and general office duties. Assist with ordering supplies for office and warehouse. Human Resources responsibilities. Database management with a variety of platforms.
Tasks
- Identifies and resolves problems; develops alternative solutions
- Input customer orders for delivery or print invoices, ensuring accuracy
- Perform internal support functions.
- Input new customers and maintain an accurate customer database within the route accounting system.
- Apply for Federal Excise Tax credit on destroyed beer.
- Sorts and files records.
- Receives money from customers or drivers and helps prepare bank deposits.
- Addresses envelopes or packages; stuffs envelopes by hand.
- Daily Route Review
- Answers telephone, checks faxes and answering machine and conveys messages, and runs errands.
- Stamps, sorts, and distributes mail.
- Photocopies documents.
- Confer with customers, by telephone or in person, direct customer to a specific department.
- Greet visitors.
