Position: HR Coordinator
Location: Atlanta. GA
Duration: Temporary (~4 months)
Hourly: $26/hr

Roles & Responsibilities
General Administration
- Provides subject matter expertise in using HRIS (BambooHR), help guide employees, and provide training as needed
- Has knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance
- Conducts personnel transactions such as hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, terminations, and organizational reporting.
- Creatively problem solves new workflow procedures, looking for ways to optimize existing programs, and recommends process improvements or new initiatives
- Maintains policy edits to Employee Handbook, suggests updates to policies as needed
- Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment and benefits laws and regulations.
- Develops human resources solutions by collecting and analyzing information, recommending courses of action
- Protects the company's value by keeping information confidential
Recruitment
- Supports the Recruiter in full candidate recruitment life cycle in ATS from sourcing to onboarding
- Evaluates resumes and candidates
- Conducts phone screens
- Facilitates candidate communication, scheduling, and team coordination
Performance & Engagement
- Provides subject matter expertise in using our performance and engagement tool (Lattice)
- Provide support for all performance management, tracking, and following-up with managers as necessary
- Collects data, reconciles, and analyzes review data, looking out for any disparate impact, and other potential flags
- Develops engagement opportunities for staff while working remotely
Payroll
- Updates and complete payroll processing from the HR administration side
- Work closely with the Controller to ensure all payroll reporting is recorded and exported (e.g. 401K distribution reports, HSA distribution reports, census data)
Benefits
- Assist with benefits administration such as new enrollments, dependent changes, address updates, open enrollment, etc.
- Facilitate with external benefit vendors and benefit brokers
- Administer various HR operational processes and audits HR data transactions, such as answering general HR inquiries from employees, validating benefit/ payroll deductions, benefit reconciliation reports, monthly invoices, employment verifications, etc.
Onboarding
- Coordinate the various steps required to onboard new hires; conducts the first-day orientation and help make the best first impression on behalf of the company.
- Leads orientation meetings
- Administers first week, and introductory period surveys and monitors new hire progress and completion

- Excellent telephone, verbal, and written communication skills
- Familiar knowledge of labor laws and practices
- Organizational skills, strong attention to detail
- Self-starter, ability to take ownership in a fast-paced environment and also collaborate as part of a team
- Understands the importance and shows level of maturity to keep sensitive information confidential
Education & Experience:
- 7 ? 10 years of direct HR Generalist / Director-level experience
- Experience with BambooHR and/or Lattice is a plus
- Has or is looking to receive certification for the SHRM-CP, PHR, or SPHR
