What are the responsibilities and job description for the Security Officer position at Premiere Security Services, Inc.?
Schedule:
Monday-Friday: 6pm-2:30am.
Duties:
- Patrol assigned areas to ensure the safety and security of the premises
- Respond to incidents and emergencies.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential security risks or breaches
- Enforce rules and regulations to maintain order and prevent unauthorized access
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting residents and visitors, addressing their inquiries or concerns
- Complete detailed daily activity reports, incident reports, maintenance reports and parking enforcement logs.
Requirements:
- Must be able to pay initial compliance state fees and meet minimum state requirements within 48 hours of employment offer. (State fees Fingerprint Fees)
- Must be able to obtain a Virginia DCJS Unarmed Security registration within the first 60 days of employment.
- Proficient in using and operating a smart phone.
- Familiarity with problem solving.
- Ability to handle conflicts or difficult situations calmly and professionally
- Basic understanding of first aid.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to Speak, Write and understand English clearly.
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors.
- Must be able to stand and walk for long periods.
