Prep Expert, a Shark Tank and Mark Cuban company, is one of the world’s largest test preparation companies. We provide test preparation for the SAT, ACT, and GRE exams, extensive tutoring options for other standardized tests such as AP tests, and college admissions counseling for students and families. We are currently seeking to grow our college admissions consulting department and hire more Senior Admissions Consultants.
We seek highly accomplished and experienced Admissions Consultants who are passionate about helping students and families throughout high school and the college application process. This is an excellent opportunity to join a rapidly growing department.
Qualifications (REQUIRED)
· Minimum 10 years college admissions consulting experience (may substitute time on an admissions committee).
· Undergraduate degree from a top-ranked college.
· Sincere desire and passion to advise a diverse range of students and families.
· Superior oral and written communication skills.
· Extensive and broad knowledge about different colleges and programs.
· Minimum 5 references of students who were admitted to highly competitive colleges.
· Superior writing, reading, and editing skills.
· Excellent knowledge of high school curriculums, class options, AP, IB, and activities.
Preferences
· Graduate degree from top-ranked college.
· Professional work experience.
· Teaching and tutoring experience.
· Ability to work with graduate applicants (primarily law, EMBA, and medical school).
Responsibilities
· Advise and assist students and families on every component of college application process, including but not limited to, understanding application platforms (including UC, Common App, and Coalition), advising on and revising essays, college selection, and answering questions about colleges and programs.
· Manage a diverse set of students and families with various goals.
· Planning all exam and application timelines and meeting all deadlines.
· Planning all meetings (phone/internet/in-person) and working in an independent manner.

Pay: $30.00 - $60.00 per hour
