Responsibilities
The Design team’s focus is on creating high quality experiences that answer a real measurable customer need, built from a well-considered design system and follow a sensible design methodology. We love designers who have passion and are opinionated but not egotistical. We want people who bring new ideas and focus on outcomes over output. Day-to-day, most designers are distributed within cross-functional product teams but you’ll also be part of a wider global design group where you’ll share skills, learn best practise and be able to develop and progress within your design career.
Role Overview:
You will be designing B2B tools and services, solving customer problems with great experiences and sophisticated interfaces.
You’ll be involved in the entire lifecycle of product development from discovery all the way through to delivery. Focusing on delivering great outcomes at a high quality.
In this role you will:
- Take ideas and briefs and turn them into new features and components.
- Work closely with Product Managers and developers throughout the development process including presentations, review meeting, project briefings, etc. Being a champion for Design.
- Lead stand-ups and workshops, as needed, to ensure successful delivery of projects.
- Analyse data to identify improvements and potential new features.
- Understand the business goals and customer needs to ensure we develop a best-in-class experience.
- Participate in design reviews and share your work regularly with the other Design teams.
- Identify opportunities to challenge and refine product and design principles.
Qualifications
- You’re an experienced product/ UX Designer, who has a portfolio that showcases your attention to both form and function.
- You have a strategic mindset, with a passion for building innovative design with customers at front of mind.
- You’re highly skilled in current design tools such as Figma.
- You’re experienced with human-centred design, design thinking sessions and design sprints.
- You’re motivated by making data-driven design decisions.
- You a confident individual who can present ideas and build efficient working relationships within cross functional teams.
- You have experience of working across multiple devices/platforms.
