Internal - Blaster

Objective: Organizing blasting jobs to ensure quality & timely completion.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Prepare heads for blasting & completing the blasting process.
• Reporting all defects and damages to the operations manager.
• Coordinating with production and other departments for feedback.
• Complying with the industry standards and safety regulations while working.
• Completing all tasks as delegated by the supervising authority.
• Efficiently managing time and meeting all specified deadlines.

Physical Demands:

• Lift, carry, push and or pull 1 – 50 lbs. frequently.
• Squat/kneel, bend/stoop, twist/turn, grasp, climb a ladder and reach overhead and outward frequently.

• Work in an industrial environment wearing hearing protection, vision protection, steel-toes shoes and other appropriate personal protective equipment.
• Work environment may include excessive temperatures.

Shift:Monday-Friday 6:00 am to 2:30 pm

Minimum Job Qualifications and Requirements:

1. High School Diploma or GED
2. Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license & proof of insurance
3. Two years or more manufacturing experience required
4. Ability to read job specifications, instructions, policies, procedures, rules, posted notices and warnings, safety guidelines, and other work-related materials written primarily or exclusively in English
5. Ability to read part drawings and familiarity with basic measurement method.
6. Ability to interact and work cooperatively with supervisors and co-workers
7. Keeps knowledge and skills current.
