PLANT HEALTH CARE TECHNICIAN
Reports to: Branch Manager
POSITION OVERVIEW
This position calls for a highly motivated and passionate individual who will lead the in-field operations for our clients’ Plant Health Care needs. In this position, you will uphold the Company’s vision in maintaining a sustainable Plant Health Care management plan for our clients. By identifying and knowing plants, life cycles, and diseases, the Plant Health Care technician will help administer a mitigation and nutrient management plan.
Employer will support Employee’s growth and education to help achieve career goals and to support Company mission. This is an at-will, non-exempt employee position under Minnesota Law. Non-exempt employees are eligible to receive overtime.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
Production Management
- Perform PHC and Turf management services on Client properties.
- Provide timely fertilizer and weed control applications, diagnosing, and correcting lawn care problems.
- Apply fertilizers and pesticides to lawns according to schedule, safety procedures, and label instructions.
Quality
- Demonstrate competent operation and maintenance of assigned service line equipment.
- Complete required application records and documentation for services provided.
- Assist in other service line operations during breaks in application and treatment schedules.
- Assist with the organization, cleaning, and basic upkeep at all facilities.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain a clean driving record.
- Demonstrate basic organization and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to perform manual labor, including repeated physical bending, kneeling, squatting, and lifting up to 50 lbs. independently and 80 lbs. with assistance.
- Possess Category A & E Pesticide Applicator License.
- Good communication skills with the ability to understand and follow directions.
- Problem solving ability with respect to all equipment types required to perform duties listed above.
- Completes assigned work in a timely and accurate manner.
- Works well with co-workers and supervisors.
- Consistently reports to work on time.
- Ability to maintain personal appearance and grooming expectations, as detailed in the Employee Handbook and Professionalism Guidelines.
- Adheres to Employer expectations regarding conduct as specified in the Employee Handbook and Professionalism Guidelines.
