Director of Nursing (DON) Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and strategic direction to the nursing department in the delivery of high-quality patient care
  • Oversee nursing staff, ensuring adherence to best practices, regulatory requirements, and facility policies
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance resident care and satisfaction
  • Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards
  • Foster a positive and supportive work environment for nursing staff

 

Director of Nursing (DON) Qualifications:

  • Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New Jersey
  • Proven experience in a Director of Nursing or similar leadership role in a nursing home or long-term care setting
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of state and federal regulations governing nursing care in healthcare facilities
  • Commitment to delivering compassionate and patient-centered care
