JOB SUMMARY
The Clinic Manager will oversee all business and access functions at the outpatient clinic site ensuring that customer service is present by our staff and environment, access is available when needed, information in the EHR has data integrity, and the site is operating well, meeting all safety inspections.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Demonstrates excellent service excellence/customer service skills with internal and external customers.
- Oversees front desk and medical assistants/nursing staff to ensure all duties of those positions are completed.
- Works with clinical staff leadership to ensure individual staff schedules are up-to-date and fully utilized to prevent obstacles to access.
- Engages, collaborates, and communicates effectively with team members to ensure that data needed is identified to support the clinical and business functions of the Center.
- Monitors data to ensure information is current and complete in EHR. When there are gaps; works with staff to get information completed utilizing deadlines.
- Provides clear expectations and goals to staff regarding customer service, access, and delivery of service.
- Completes monthly safety inspections and fire drills, including submission of reports.
- Responsible for submission of maintenance tickets or notification to facilities or operations staff respective to any building needs/repairs to ensure professional building appearance.
- Greets and accompanies’ representatives from any regulatory agency i.e. OHFLAC, Fire Marshal, MCO, etc. when they present at the clinic.
- Promotes clinic and Prestera services by attending relevant community meetings and making referral and development visits.
- Provides monthly supervision with assigned staff to ensure all processes and communication are clear.
- Orders supplies as needed.
- Supervises assigned staff, evaluates staff performance, establishes and maintains employee work schedules and timekeeping activities, and makes recommendations for personnel actions as needed.
- Adheres to confidentiality, HIPAA, and risk management policies and procedures including but not limited to completing Incident Reports.
- Utilizes technology provided to perform job efficiently and effectively.
- Participates in other functional work by participating in related projects, as applicable and directed by Center leadership.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Direct supervisory responsibilities are required.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
- 1 year of supervisory experience preferred.
- 1 year of front desk operations in a healthcare setting preferred.
- Must have a high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations.
- Possess strong written and verbal communication skills in conjunction with strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to complete multiple tasks and high volume of work with deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Must possess excellent computer skills.
- Must be able to lift 25 lbs.
- Valid Driver’s license required.
- Must complete CPR and CPI courses per agency policy.
EDUCATION AND TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of bachelor’s degree in business or related field; master’s preferred.

Salary : $50,000 - $65,000
