Job Posting for HIM Specialist at PRIDE Health

Pride Health is seeking candidates for HIM Specialist opportunity for Mountain View, CA   location.\u202fThis is a 3 month contract.

Responsibilities

    • The HIM Specialist I is responsible for daily collection and reconciliation of patient medical records from nursing units / designated areas for chart preparation and scanning into the legal medical record.
    • Chart preparation includes: Chart assembly/cleaning, scanning and indexing paper documents into the legal medical record timely and accurately.
    • Reviewing appointment lists and scanning needed documentation required for patient visits.
    • Prepares medical records for transportation to off-site storage facility for retention.
    • Adheres to all ECH and HIM policies and procedures.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience with audit, medical record or electronic health record.

Base Pay: $27- $35per hour Base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and takes into consideration experience, expertise, education, and other qualifications.
