Medical Receptionist

Pride Health is hiring a Medical Receptionist for one of its clients in Massachusetts.

This is a 3-month contract with the possibility of an extension with competitive pay and benefits.

Location Boston, MA (02215) Onsite

Length of assignment 3 months (Possibility of an extension)

Pay range - $20 - $25 per hour.

Shift Monday through Friday, 8 : 30a-5p with a one-hour lunch break.

Job Summary

• Answer, screen, and process incoming calls in a dedicated call center.
• Check patients in and out efficiently and courteously.
• Provide information and assistance to patients regarding services and appointments.
• Maintain a professional and welcoming front desk environment.
• Handle patient inquiries and concerns with a focus on customer satisfaction.
• Perform administrative tasks as needed to support office operations.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED Required.
• 2 years of experience in a customer service role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
• COVID-19 and flu vaccines are required (medical exemptions accepted only).
• Strong typing and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Proficient in using office software and phone systems.
• Ability to exert up to 10 lbs of force occasionally (carrying, pushing, lifting, pulling).
• Predominantly sitting, with occasional walking and standing required.
