What are the responsibilities and job description for the Phlebotomist I position at PRIDE Health?
Pride Health is seeking candidates for a Phlebotomist in Malta, NY. This is a 4 months assignment with possibility of extension and conversion.
Schedule: Mon-Fri 7am-3pm Alternating Saturdays 8am-12pm
Pay: $18- $20 (Pay offered based on experience, expertise and education.)
Responsibilities
- Performs blood collection by venipuncture and capillary technique from patients of all age groups.
- Performs specimen processing in a safe, accurate, and professional manner.
- Performs order entry; retrieves and verifies patient collection data and patient special notations using appropriate sources.
Skills & Qualifications
- Requires a High School Diploma or GED
- Phlebotomy certification preferred
- Minimum of 6 months experience requred.
- NY State of Credentials/Licenses Required.
