We Are in need of a Quality and Food Safety Specialist in San Marcos, Ca. Excellent temp to hire opportunity!!!

MUST have had previous experience in Food Safety. HACCP or PCQI Certified if possible or willing to certify.

Details :

  • Extensive knowledge of Food Safety Plans programs including, but not limited to HACCP, sanitation, pest control, good manufacturing practices, foreign material control, customer complaint, Root-cause analysis, traceability, internal audit program, trainings, food defense and security to comply with all company, Customer and USDA / FDA regulatory requirements
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to multitask while maintaining required deadlines.
  • Flexibility in Schedules. Might need to work weekends or odd hours during the busy season.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, records, and reports related to Food Safety and Quality compliance activities.
  • Prepare reports on compliance status, audit findings, corrective actions, and quality performance metrics, highlighting areas for improvement and recommending strategies for enhancing compliance performance.
  • Oversee the documentation and record-keeping processes related to Food Safety and Quality compliance, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and accessibility of records.

Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to) : $28.00 - $32.00 Per Hour
