Title: Phlebotomist
Location: Daytona Beach, FL 32114
Duration: 4 months with possible extension
Pay: Pay$16- $18 /hr. (depends on the experience and qualifications of the candidate)
Schedule: Schedule: 6:30am-2:30pm M-F every 3rd Saturday 7am-11am
Note: 1 week in Tampa for Orientation
Responsibilities:
- Performs blood collection by venipuncture and capillary technique from patients of all age groups, primarily adults.
- Performs specimen processing in a safe, accurate, and professional manner.
- Performs order entry; retrieves and verifies patient collection data and patient special notations using appropriate sources.
- Matches laboratory requisition forms to specimen tubes.
Qualifications:
- Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 6 months of phlebotomy experience is required.
