Property Accountant

Job Summary:
PrideStaff Financial is currently seeking a skilled Property Accountant to join a rapidly expanding commercial real estate firm. This role involves managing the accounting functions for commercial real estate properties and corporate entities, with daily interaction with property managers, owners, and vendors.

Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and year-end financial statements/reporting
- Perform a wide variety of accounting analyses
- Prepare journal entries and maintain the general ledger
- CAM reconciliations
- Reconcile monthly bank statements to the general ledger
- Review tenant ledgers to ensure receivables are current and accurate
- Record and process accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Process cash receipts and prepare bank deposits
- Monitor daily cash balances
- Tenant billing for 10CO, 150B, 189M, 611C
- Field Payroll Allocation of all hours worked
- Maintain paid bills files SCC billing
- AP operating company, management company and several out of state properties
- Reconciliation of all jobs to GL
- Medical Reimbursement
- Pay Sales Tax
- Workers Comp
Qualifications:
- Sage 300 Construction / Real Estate Modules
- MS Office
- Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in Accounting) and at least two years of general accounting experience.
- Experience in real estate property accounting is preferred.
