What are the responsibilities and job description for the Custodian 3rd shift position at PrideStaff?
Our client is looking for a 3rd shift Custodian for an onsite, Direct Hire position in Somerset, New Jersey.
Pay Rate : $21 / HR
Hours : 10PM- 630AM
Responsibilities :
- Picks up all disposable waste from offices, plant, cafeteria and washrooms.
- Follows established cleaning schedule unless directed otherwise
- Cleans washroom walls, sinks, bowls, urinals and floors.
- Vacuums all rugs and carpeting throughout facility.
- Cleans all glass, mirrors and windows.
- Sweeps, cleans, mops and scrubs all floors using the proper and appropriate equipment.
- Takes inventory of all cleaning supplies and prepare requisitions for needed supplies.
Requirements :
- High school degree or general education degree (GED) is preferred.
- Previous custodian or related experience is strongly preferred.
- The employee must regularly lift, push, pull, carry, and / or move up to 25 pounds.
