This is an exciting opportunity and optimal time to join a company that is rapidly growing! The client is the world's leading manufacturer of closed cell, cross-linked block foams.
THEY ARE BUSY! Full-time positions will be responsible for the operation of manual and computer-controlled production process equipment, moving and handling of raw, intermediate and finished goods.
Extrusion Department is responsible for the most complex of this client’s operation. They are looking for someone with experience in machine operating / mechanical aptitude and willing to work hard.
$1 per hour Night and Weekend differential as applicable for all. When hired on, benefits are immediately available. This client does look to hire on quick, leading to a great career opportunity!
Available shift patterns include :
Rotating shift - 12 hour shift - days (6am-6 : 30pm) and nights (6pm - 6 : 30am) with alternating 36 / 48 hour weeks with alt.
3-day weekend (note, shift patterns / hours / days below are subject to change).
When working holidays, you will receive holiday pay & time and a half pay.
Some qualifications include :
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Prior machine operator experience preferred
- Prior manufacturing experience preferred
- Capable in basic arithmetic and pc proficiency
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, work instructions, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Able to follow instructions to implement changes in process conditions or equipment settings needed to influence product properties
- Forklift experience is a plus but will train
- Capable of lifting products weighing up to 50 pounds and repetitive movement
- Must be dependable, maintain regular attendance and provide flexibility as business needs change

Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to) : $18.60 - $19.60 Per Hour
