Picker Heavy Lifting
1st Shift / M-F / 8am-5pm
$15 - $16 per hr

PrideStaff Greenville is seeking an experienced and detailed Picker on behalf of our client in Piedmont, SC.
The warehouse Picker is responsible for picking products up to 50bs and assisting with unloading shipping containers. Candidates are also responsible for accurate data entry on each shipment, keeps accurate documentation of data for all picks, and maintains good safety practices.
Picker Key Duties :
- Accurate picking, packing and / or labeling within the department
- Give priority to safety while performing warehouse duties by using Pallet Jacks, dollies, hand trucks and on rare occasions, forklifts
- Inspect products for quality
- Organize orders and problem solve if issue with orders accrues.
- Unload shipping containers, sort and stage boxes for storage
- Assignments may include various tasks like unloading, categorizing, arranging, identifying, extracting, boxing, replenishing, validating, delivering, packaging, and more.
- 2 years of Picker experience / Ability to read & understand pick sheets
- Reliability Attendance and timeliness are essential
- Ability to walk up to 4 miles each day in the warehouse
- Ability to use scanning device and pay attention to detail to ensure accuracy
