Recruiting Assistant Job Description
FUNCTION : To answer incoming telephone lines, greet and start prospective Field Associates through the selection and onboarding process.
Schedule appointments for Business Development Manager & Strategic Partner. Cold calling clients. Sourcing candidates. Meeting weekly goals for outside sales calls and Field Associates hired.
Processing & maintaining Payroll weekly.
REPORTS TO : Strategic Partner & Staffing Consultant
WHAT ARE THE MAIN FUNCTIONS AND PURPOSE OF THE JOB?
- To be the first person to answer incoming telephone calls.
- Responsible for maintaining office emails, Recruiting Assistant emails & text messages
- To direct clients with job order requests to Staffing Consultants, Account Manager, or Strategic-Partner
- Post jobs on all social media platforms and update them as needed
- To schedule interviews & interview Field Associates for various positions
- To audit Field Associate time cards, both paper and Auto Time for accuracy.
- To ensure quality service by handling Client and Field Associate matters courteously, properly and efficiently.
- To telephone screen prospective Field Associates.
- Schedule candidates for assessment and interview.
- Complete background checks, drug screens and reference checks on Field Associates.
- Keep accurate and timely notes in system for clients and Filed Associates
- Handle and distribute incoming and outgoing mail.
- Perform other related duties as deemed necessary by the Strategic-Partner.
- Order office and printing supplies.

EDUCATION AND / OR EXPERIENCE :
- BA is preferred but can be substituted for similar experience.
- H.S. Diploma or GED is required of all employees
- Ability to type 50WPM
- Satisfactory computer literacy in Word, Excel and email software.
LANGUAGE SKILLS :
- Must be able to communicate English fluently in writing and verbally.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and procedure manuals.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS :
Basic math skills to include : addition, subtraction, division and percentages are required.
REASONING ABILITY :
- Ability to make decisions of sound judgement according to company policy.
- Ability to deal with problems involving clients or employees.
