The Clinic Supervisor will have both administrative and strategic responsibilities, and will supervise/manage the day to day operations of the clinic. At PRIME, we understand that our business thrives when our employees thrive, and it begins with hiring the right clinic supervisor.
Objectives of this role:
- Plan, direct and coordinate medical and health services and staff in a PRIME clinic
- Ensure the clinic is managed per rules and regulations according to PRIME’s procedures/policies and ensure compliance with local, state and national regulations are adhered to
- Provide guidance and interpretation for the operation of the clinic
- Hire, guide, counsel and teach employees proper procedures to ensure a smooth operation.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the day to day operations of the clinic
- Administer fiscal operations, including but not limited to accounting, planning, budgets, expenditures, rates of service and financial reporting
- Recruitment, hiring, training, evaluating of staff
- Ensuring the clinic is fully staffed and implementing a work schedule, which includes on-call, callouts, evening, nights and or weekends.
- Work cohesively with the Medical Director and Providers to provide the best care and services to our clients
- Provide nursing duties as needed
- May be required to travel
- May be required to work overtime and or holidays
- Must have reliable transportation
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Required skills and Qualifications:
- Licensed Practical Nurse
- Three to five years of administrative or management skills working in a medical clinic or department
- Supervision of staff
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ethics, and cultural awareness
- Aptitude for problem-solving and thorough knowledge of a clinic procedures and policies
Preferred skills and Qualifications:
- Advanced knowledge of occupational medicine in a clinic setting.
- Resourceful mindset and strong attention to detail
- Knowledge of local, state and national laws and regulations related to employment
Physical Demands: Sitting or standing for prolonged periods of time, lift, carry push, pull or otherwise move objects up to 75 pounds. Repetitive motion. Extensive use of computers and keyboard. Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading. Work is performed in an office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards. Must have the ability to lift and small carry parcels, packages and other items, to walk short distances, and drive a vehicle to deliver and pick up materials.
