We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Leasing Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the leasing process, maintaining accurate records, and providing exceptional customer service. Duties
- Manage the leasing process from start to finish, including scheduling tours, conducting walk-throughs, and processing lease agreements.
- Assist in marketing vacant units through various channels, including social media, local advertising, and property tours.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of lease renewals, expirations, and vacancies using Yardi or other property management software.
- Respond to inquiries and handle phone calls in a professional and courteous manner, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
- Manage and resolve conflicts between tenants and property management staff, utilizing conflict management skills.
- Assist with administrative tasks, including data entry, and maintaining records of tenant correspondence.
- Ensure that all lease agreements are thoroughly reviewed and compliant with relevant laws and regulations, including Section 8 housing.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive knowledge of the property's features and amenities to effectively promote them to potential tenants.
- Foster strong customer relationships through proactive communication and a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure the smooth operation of the property and achieve business objectives.
Experience
- Previous experience in a leasing or real estate administrative role is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in Appfolio or other property management software is essential.
- Strong customer service and conflict management skills are critical for success in this role.
- Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) systems is an asset.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines is necessary.
- Knowledge of local real estate regulations, including Section 8 housing, is beneficial.
- High school diploma or equivalent desired.
- Experience with contract management and data entry is an advantage.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $12.50 - $14.00 per hour
