Prime Robotics is a Denver-based maker of robots for the logistics industry. The company has bootstrapped it to here, but is ready to start scaling the company and look for a US based leader of the HR functions.
Job Description
You will be the first HR Director in Prime and will first be a hands on individual contributor and build the team as the company scales over the next couple years. As a leading robotics company this role is largely concerned with hiring engineers with cutting edge technical skills. Since the department is starting from 0, you will also need to be able to plan strategically and set up the right guidelines, processes and policies conducive to a culture of creative discipline.
What to Expect
- Assist CEO in management and administration of People Function.
- Manage the recruitment process, including posting career opportunities,reviewing resumes, screening candidates, and scheduling interviews.
- Lead new hire onboarding process, including conducting reference , background checks , creating offer letters and having new employee Orientation.
- Develop and ensure effective offboading process
- Serve as point of contact for employee relations concerns
- Partner with accountant on wage administration to ensure pay consistency and equity
- Manage employee leave of absence process
- Review current human resources policies and procedures and offer solutions and improvements
- Perform additional administrative works, such as travel arrangements
Qualifications
What You Need to be Successful
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Human Resources, or related field
- 3 years of HR experience demonstrating knowledge of HR management, recruitment, and employee relations
- The ability to effectively perform in a start-up environment
- Comfortable creating new systems and procedures in a fast paced growth environment
- Experience with human resources policies, labor laws and compliance
- Recruiting experience; preferred in recruiting technical positions, such as hardware engineers or software developers
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to work in the Denver Office at least 4 days per week( 1 day remotely)
- PHR, preferred

Pay: $60,000-$80,000 per year
