Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Scheduler to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in medical scheduling and possess knowledge of medical terminology. This position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the efficient operation of our office.
Duties:
- Schedule patient appointments accurately and efficiently
- Coordinate with medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow
- Manage front desk operations and handle patient inquiries
- Utilize phone systems to communicate appointment details
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines
- Familiarity with Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or similar software is a plus
Skills:
- Proficiency in medical terminology
- Experience as a dental receptionist or in a medical scheduling role
- Knowledge of ER procedures and protocols
- Ability to navigate scheduling software such as Axxess.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with patients and staff
