The Position Proposition :
- Work order management :
- Initiates repair orders, enters tech notes concerning parts on orders, reviews for accuracy and obtains approval for repairs for all company owned assets above set thresholds before finalizing.
- Scheduling appointments for vendor repairs
- Keeps Vehicle and Equipment data base current
- Track daily Vehicle kilometers / hours and Heavy Equipment hours
- Update Repair and Maintenance records with current service and PM status
- Work with R&M personnel for servicing requirements
- Monitor progress of actual planned maintenance and repairs for light vehicles
- Communicate with vendors / jobsites of planned maintenance
- Assist in scheduling work, answering questions and advising on repairs within established guidelines. Reviews technician time postings for accuracy.
- Assists the service manager in assuring that the shop is following governmental regulations, safety guidelines, company policies.
And ensuring all manuals and other resources are up to date.
Educational & Minimum Requirements :
- High School Diploma or GED Required.
- A minimum of 3 years of related experience, preferably in the construction industry.
- Experience in purchasing, sourcing parts, and materials is helpful.
- Knowledge of multiple Industries including automotive, Equipment.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Computer literate with Microsoft Projects, capabilities desirable.
