Production- Signs & Graphics

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
The production team for the Signs & Graphics Division of Print-O-Stat is responsible for the production, finishing, packaging and installation of signage orders. Some background in the signage industry is preferred, must have good communication skills and be able to operate in a fast moving environment. This position involves the production and installation of internal and external, permanent and removable signage, including vehicle wraps and trade show displays.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Operate all equipment within the Signs and Graphics Department, may include: Flatbed Printer, Roll to Roll printers, Router/Cutter, laminator, panel cutter, etc. Training will be provided.
• Use hand tools such as hammer, drill, grommet machine, level, ruler, and tall ladders
• Install signs and graphics of all types including but not limited to large vinyl and print graphics, wall graphics, vehicle graphics. Training will be provided.
• Inspects jobs for accuracy before printing/packaging

JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• PREFFERED:
• Previous sign or print industry experience
• Basic knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and/or Photoshop
• Knowledge of signage materials and printers
• Operating a printer/finishing equipment (flatbed and roll to roll), laminator, router cutter
• Vinyl application (Prep, cut, weed, mask, apply)
• Installation experience

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy with highly developed multi-tasking and organization skills
• Must work well in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly to changing situations and customer requests.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs., work with tools, and use ladder comfortably.
• Must have a valid driver's license/clean driving record
• Willingness to learn
• Good time management to meet deadlines
