The inspiration for Priority VA  came from our founder’s need to work from home to support her growing family, and her desire to help connect leaders to Executive Assistants creating freedom for them to pursue their highest goals.

Having worked as an EA for nearly 20 years, she realized most leaders limit their growth by believing that they have to do it alone. We exist to change the narrative that says leaders and teams need to be exhausted, stressed, on a path to burnout to succeed.

We believe the right EA changes the narrative of the leader, resulting in a business and a home that runs more smoothly.

We’re looking for a seasoned Executive Assistant who feels fulfilled when supporting their leader in both their personal and professional lives. Their zones of genius are Administrative Support, Relationship Management, Operations, and Project Management. This role will allow our Founder/CEO to be able to take her Vision to the next tier and give her the space to be fully present with her family at home.

Requirements

  • Ownership: The goal for this role is to keep our founder laser-focused on company growth by removing and unblocking any distractions. As such, this role involves heavy collaboration with the founder but also requires an ownership mindset.
  • Major attention to detail: You’re extremely organized, with an intuitive sense for noticing and remembering details. You have strong verbal and written communication skills (you found the grammatical errors in this post, because #details). 
  • Take charge: Identify things that need to be done and resolve them without being told to. You’re naturally good at looking for potholes down the road. 
  • Experience: You bring a skillset (and an existing playbook) for being a great EA that only experience and past mistakes have taught you. This isn’t your first rodeo. You’ve provided administrative and logistical support for startup founders, leadership or executives.
  • Passion and Purpose: You know this is the career you want, and you know you’re good at it. 
  • Project Management: You’re able to initiate complex, high-level, multi-phase tasks and see them through to completion with minimal assistance. You know how to capture the details and pull out the priorities from Visionary Brainstorming Sessions.
  • Relationship Focused: You’re the ultimate relationship manager. You’re enthusiastic, and people enjoy engaging with you. You remember details and obscure things mentioned in passing conversations. Birthdays and holidays don’t sneak up on you. 
  • Tech Ninja: You’re an expert with all things G-Suite and MAC (Apple). Social Media and content research isn’t intimidating for you. You embrace new technology when it’s released and are the first on deck to become the Subject Matter Expert (SME). You use project management software religiously. Tasks don’t die in a slack channel on your watch. 

Responsibilities

Use your dedicated home office space to:

  • Analyze and work to deeply understand the founders’ goals, and protect their time accordingly.
  • Manage an active calendar, coordinate internal and external meetings, prepare agendas, and track follow-up action items.
  • Communicate directly with internal and external stakeholders on behalf of the CEO. 
  • Prioritize conflicting requests and needs,  handling matters proactively, swiftly, and to completion while meeting deadlines.
  • Manage the coordination and logistics of recruiting searches for various internal or external roles. .
  • Assist the CEO with ad hoc projects as needed, including the coordination of team activities.
  • Collaborate regarding content creation related to working with Executive Assistants to support programs and services the company delivers. 
  • Arrange domestic and international travel plans and itineraries.
  • Stay in the loop. Keep CEO in the loop and in line. 
  • Provide operational support for the CEO's initiatives
  • You will be the difference between new ideas and projects being realized or put off.
  • Work with the CEO and others inside and outside of the company to make sure important moves are made.

5 Years Experience Serving a C-Suite Leader 

Location: Work from your home office in either NC/GA/MD/FL (applicants from outside these states or from other countries will not be considered). 
Salary: up to $70k

Salary : $62,000 - $70,000
