Service Advisor/Writer

Pristow's Equipment Group is seeking to add a service writer to their team at their Kubota Dealership in Johnstown, PA. Earn $40,000 to $60,000 in your first year writing service for agricultural and outdoor power equipment customers. Responsibilities:

• Build trusting relationships with customers while assisting them with service needs
• Educate customers on preventative maintenance and other offered services
• Evaluate equipment needs and document customer concerns
• Translate customer concerns into technical work orders
• Identify and advise customers of additional maintenance needs
• Use dealer-approved software to build, track, and complete work orders
• Assist technicians with repair orders and parts research as needed
• Schedule customer units for pickup, delivery, and maintenance
• Inform customers through every step of the maintenance & repair process

The successful individual must have:

• Excellent customer service and dedication to customer satisfaction
• Clear verbal and written communication skills
• General knowledge of engines, hydraulics, and operation of heavy equipment and outdoor power equipment
• General mechanical apptitude

• Experience with diesel and hydraulic repairs
