What are the responsibilities and job description for the Night Auditor position at PRM Hotels?
We are looking for a detail-oriented Night Auditor to help us monitor hotel operations while ensuring the safety of our guests and staff. As a Night Auditor, you will be responsible for ensuring guest satisfaction, performing inventory checks, resolving discrepancies and communicating with guests, management and department heads. To succeed in this role you should be highly organized and able to deal with stressful situations in a professional manner. Due to the nature of this position, you should be friendly and have an interest in customer service. Ultimately, you will be responsible for conducting thorough nightly inspections to ensure everything is in order for our guests.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee night-shift staff, ensure their work and check that they are adhering to service standards and company policies.
- Resolve customer complaints and queries.
- Check that cash drawer is secure at the end of each shift.
- Ensure that fire extinguishers and other safety equipment are in good working condition.
- Audit, balance, and report revenues nightly
- Perform duties of Front Desk clerk
- Check room service charges are correct.
- Assist in training new employees, including their shifts and work schedules.
- Balance all bank ticket codes
