Medical Billing Specialist

Pro Med Billing is a multi-specialty medical billing company with decades of experience and lots of happy clients. We are expanding our team and need to recruit Medical Billing Specialists. Our number one priority is generating the highest reimbursement possible for our clients, in as short a time as possible. In support of this aim, our Medical Billing Specialists must be able to positively influence the accuracy and timeliness of every step of a client’s revenue cycle. This means maximizing the value of subjects such as initial claim submission, rejection and denial management, payment posting, aged claims and self-pay collections.

Medical Billing Specialists must show outstanding attention to detail, be able to manage multiple tasks in a timely manner and always be clear and considerate when speaking with clients and patients.

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

• 10 years of relevant medical billing experience is essential.
• In-depth knowledge of medical insurance billing and collection practices.
• Skilled with medical billing software (preferably Kareo).
• Understand how physician offices and medical facilities operate.
• Be a proactive problem-solver… Show initiative and follow through to completion.
• Comply with HIPAA Privacy Standards and HIPAA Security Standards.
• Understand the generally accepted documentation procedures and protocols.
• Provide professional work references - please have them ready.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

• Full-time employment (Monday to Friday - 8.30am to 4.30pm).
