Electronic Security Technician

Pro-Tech Renovation and Security LLC is currently looking for service and installation technicians, specialized in alarms, access controls and cameras, to join the team that I am putting in place for our upcoming opening , in the greater Fort-Myers / Naples area.

The start of operation of Pro-Tech Renovation and Security LLC is scheduled for August 2024. Also, the hiring forecast is also in August 2024.

We are looking for Electronic Security Technicians capable of offering a very good quality of work UNDER SUPERVISION, but also Electronic Security Technicians capable of offering a very good quality of work AUTONOMOUSLY and capable of MANAGING A FEW EMPLOYEES of their team. THE SALARY WILL VARY DEPENDING ON YOUR SKILLS, YOUR AUTONOMY AND THE RESPONSIBILITIES GIVEN.

Who we are:

Pro-Tech Renovation and Security LLC is a new approach to renovation combined with electronic security: whether it is the Renovation sector (major renovations, demolitions, minor renovations, simple finishes) or the Electronic Security sector (cameras, access controls, theft alarms, home automation). Since 1998, I have got the know-how to take care of entire projects, as electronic security systems, bathroom, kitchen, floors, ceramic, patio, dividing walls, gypsum, joint drawing, painting, insulation, doors and windows, exterior cladding , shed, epoxy floor, etc.

What does your daily life look like:

As a Security Systems Specialist, you are responsible for installing, programming, testing, inspecting, maintaining and repairing a variety of security systems and equipment. Security includes electronic building security (burglar alarms, access controls and cameras), but also personal safety. You are also responsible for making service calls.

REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION: High School/GED or equivalent experience

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE (BUT NOT REQUIRED):

- One or a few years of experience in maintenance, inspection and repair of safety equipment would be an asset, but is not mandatory.

- To have CCTV experience, Access Control experience and Intrusion experience would be also an asset.

- A driving license.

RESPONSABILITIES:

- You represent the company in a positive and professional manner, as well as through the quality of service.

- Be familiar with blueprints, schematics, manuals and other basic specifications to determine installation procedures. Interpret manuals, schematics and wiring diagrams, and repair equipment, using knowledge of electronics and using standard test instruments and hand tools.

- Commission new systems, analyze performance and identify malfunctions.

- Consult with engineering personnel to resolve unusual problems related to system operation, maintenance and warranty work.

- Execute numerous technical aspects of multiple projects with varying deadlines and budgets, including programming, graphics development, start-up, certification testing, customer training, closeout documentation, ongoing technical support, etc.

- Have strong troubleshooting skills to resolve problems related to faulty equipment or software and to respond in a timely manner to scheduled maintenance calls and emergency and after-hours service calls (diagnose, troubleshoot, repair , replace defective parts and debug systems).

- Communicate and work cohesively with other team members to improve operations.

- Ability to travel locally to construction sites on a regular basis.
