JOB SUMMARY
The VP of DPC Sales' main objective is to introduce and educate clients and perspective clients on Proactive MD. By identifying enlightened brokers and key worksite contacts, this role builds relationships and trust to better understand their needs and how Proactive MD can help meet them. This position also works internally with key stakeholders to ensure we can deliver our services and surpass our clients’ expectations. The DPC Sales role will specifically target smaller to mid-size employers who will utilize the Proactive MD Health Centers regionally.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identifies key broker contacts and potential employer contacts.
- Manages a team of frontline sales members, establishing and tracking goals and performance metrics.
- Promotes company services by building relationships with clients and potential clients and delivering individualized solutions to healthcare needs for their employees.
- Collaborates with internal stakeholders to set expectations appropriately and ensure that we can deliver on sales goals.
- Develops presentations to show how Proactive MD can meet a potential client’s needs.
- Develops strategy to ensure progression from identification to closing.
- Understands market initiatives and competitors through networking and social media.
- Builds relationships internally to ensure thorough understanding of product, latest innovations, and all items we able to offer as solutions to our clients.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree required in sales, marketing, business, or related field.
- 10 years’ work experience in a similar role.
- Must have a thorough understanding of sales strategy and relationship building.
- Must be self-motivated and able to work with minimal direct supervision.
- Desire to frequently travel is required for this role.
WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This job primarily operates in a professional office and travelling environment. The following physical demands are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, see, and hear.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and extended use of a computer and phone are required.
- The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, use hands, reach with hands and arms, and occasionally lift office products.
- Additionally, the employee will need to be able to lift/move/store individual 20-30 pound boxes and items such as office and medical supplies and equipment.
POSITION TYPE & EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
This role will be expected to work a minimum of 40 hours/week as directed. Typical workdays are Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm. This role is considered an exempt position. Evening and weekend work may occasionally be required as business needs dictate.
TRAVEL
Frequent travel is required, with local/non-overnight travel required weekly and overnight travel at least monthly.
