Responsibilities
Are you looking for your next opportunity in Human Resources? If so, this might be for you! ProAmpac is actively recruiting for a Human Resource Generalist to join our Franklin Park location. This position will be responsible for maintaining, supporting, and enhancing our talent, culture, and functional excellence. They will be executing onsite HR processes, policies and programs – as well as enforcing safety operating policies.
- Supporting Performance Management, Talent Acquisition, Onboarding and Retention for ProAmpac Employees according to federal, local and company requirements
- Organizing and maintaining employee files within HRIS systems
- Providing support on Total Rewards, Compensation, and Benefit programs
- Supporting ProAmpac culture and core values, engagement, and positive employee experience through change management and communication
- Assisting with health and safety training, including accident investigation, follow-up and safety training (CPR/First Aid, PPE)
- Maintain all safety documents such as SDS, and certifications for hearing conservation, forklift and waste records
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or Organizational Development from a four-year college; or three plus years related experience and / or training in a large manufacturing organization; or equivalent combination of the two
- Experience as a safety lead or champion for an organization; preferably in a manufacturing facility
- Strong communication (verbal, written, presentation) skills to effectively collaborate with leadership, staff, and clients
- Comfortability using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Visio, Teams and Outlook
- Self-confident, motivated professional who thrives in a challenging, fast-paced environment
